EV Doctors ("we", "us") provides remote diagnostics and expert support for new energy vehicles, especially imported and used NEVs where manufacturer after-sales networks are limited. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you use our website, owner mobile app, technician WeChat Mini Program, and related services.

1. Data controller

Nanjing Haishengwei New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (南京海盛威新能源科技有限公司), operating the EV Doctors brand, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website, the EV Doctors owner mobile app, the EV Doctors technician WeChat Mini Program, and related services.

2. Where your data is stored

Southeast Asia (current launch region) — If you are in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, or Singapore, your account data, vehicle records, consultation content, and diagnostic uploads are stored and processed on servers located in Singapore (Southeast Asia region). We do not route Southeast Asia user data to China or the European Union unless you register in those regions and use a dedicated regional deployment.

European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland — When we operate an EU deployment, data for users in those regions is stored in Frankfurt, Germany (EU region). We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA unless adequate safeguards apply (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

Middle East — Users in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC markets may have data processed in the UAE (Dubai region) in line with applicable PDPL requirements.

Your assigned region is determined at registration based on the country you select in the app.

3. What we collect

Owner mobile app and website

• Account information: email address and password hash
• Vehicle information: model, year, optional VIN
• Service content: consultation messages, photos, AI diagnosis inputs
• Device data: push notification token, app language, country
• Technical logs: security and service-quality logs (IP address, timestamps)
• Website contact form: name, email, message (only if you submit the form)

4. Technician WeChat Mini Program (EV Doctors 技师端)

This section applies to certified technicians who use our WeChat Mini Program in China to receive dispatch notifications, manage work orders, and submit diagnostic reports. We process only what is necessary to operate the technician workflow.

What we collect from technicians

• Account information: email address and password hash
• WeChat identifiers: openid (and unionid where available) to bind your technician account and deliver dispatch notifications
• Work profile: online/availability status, accepted service hours, skill specialties, technician level
• Order handling: chat messages, diagnostic reports, and media attached to consultations assigned to you
• Owner case data relayed by the platform: vehicle model, fault description, and photos needed to perform the service — you must not share this outside the platform
• Settlement data: earnings, payout status, and service-quality records linked to completed orders
• Technical logs: API access timestamps and error logs for security and service quality

How we use technician data

• Authenticate technicians and manage accounts
• Dispatch work orders from our customer-service team and coordinate owner communication
• Send WeChat subscription messages for new dispatch alerts only after you grant consent in the Mini Program
• Calculate earnings, technician levels, and service statistics

WeChat platform

Login and subscription-message delivery rely on Tencent WeChat. We receive WeChat identifiers from WeChat when you sign in or authorise notifications. We do not receive your WeChat password. Tencent’s privacy rules also apply to WeChat itself; you can review them via the in-app “WeChat Privacy Protection Guide” (微信隐私保护指引) linked from the Mini Program profile screen.

5. Legal bases

Depending on your location, we rely on one or more of the following:

• Contract — providing the service you request (diagnostics, manuals, expert chat)
• Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, security, product improvement
• Consent — marketing communications and optional analytics where shown separately; required under Philippines PDPA and Indonesia UU PDP for certain processing
• Legal obligation — compliance with applicable law

6. How we use your data

We use personal data to operate the EV Doctors platform, deliver AI and human diagnostic support, send service notifications, improve our knowledge base, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (in-app: Settings → Privacy & consent)
• Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (EU users; Philippines NPC; Indonesia Kominfo)

To exercise these rights, use in-app settings or email privacy@evdoctors.net. We respond within 30 days.

8. Account deletion

Owner app: delete your account under Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your sign-in credentials.

Technician Mini Program: contact privacy@evdoctors.net to request closure of your technician account. You may also revoke WeChat subscription-message consent in the Mini Program or WeChat settings.

Some records may be retained as required by law or for legitimate dispute resolution for a limited period.

9. Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for a limited period after deletion as required by law. Consultation media may be deleted sooner upon request.

10. Cookies (this website)

This marketing website uses minimal cookies. If we enable analytics, we will request consent via a cookie banner before placing non-essential cookies. Essential cookies may be used for security and form submission.

11. Third-party processors

We use contracted service providers who process data only on our instructions and under data processing agreements, including:

• Cloud hosting and database providers (API and file storage)
• Email and customer-support tools
• Mobile push notification services (owner app)
• Tencent WeChat — WeChat login (openid) and subscription-message delivery for the technician Mini Program

12. Children

EV Doctors is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

13. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
